The 29th November 2011 was the 3rd Bolton Manufacturing Network Group Monthly Meeting. More new faces attended the meeting and manufacturing is proving to be the sector with the drive to beat the recession.
Each of the attendees of the meeting paid 15 pounds on entry, which was donated to local Bolton based charity Be Strong. The group donated a total of 105 pounds, all raised from the evening of the event. Darren, the founder of Be Strong really stole the show with his dynamic presentation, as he provided first hand knowledge to the manufacturers on what it is like to be at rock bottom. His passion for supporting local ex-offenders and recovering addicts was felt by all. Darren's approach is very personable, which has proved successful with the number of people that have been through his program and are back part of society and working again.
Please visit Be Strong website to see how you could help support a great local charity and join the fundraising team.
